The ASEAN Intellectual Property Association 2008 Annual Conference was held in Renaissance Hotel, Makati City, Philippines last March 13 to 15, 2008
The Conference is held annually to continuously foster ties, mutual relationship, cooperation and understanding among the key players of various industries in the protection and development of intellectual property in the ASEAN Region.
With the theme, "Economic Drive - Role and Importance of Intellectual Property in Areas of Growth," this year's conference focused on various industries such as Bio-Technology, Information and Communications Technology, Pharmaceutical and Health among others.
